and served in various capacities among which were Secretary, Lagos State Road Safety Corporation; Secretary, Lagos State Ferry Service Corporation; Joint Secretary to the Lagos State Executive Council and the Executive Secretary, Land Use and Allocation Committee. In addition, he was the Private Secretary to Governors Okhai Mike Akhigbe, Raji Alagbe Rasaki and Sir Michael Agbolade Otedola respectively. Prince Ogunlewe was elevated to the prestigious position of Permanent Secretary on 2nd February 2001 and had served in the defunct Post-Primary Teaching Service Commission; Public Service Office; Civil Service Commission, Parastatal Monitoring Office and Ministry of Establishments and Training, his point of call, before his appointment as Head of Service on 21st May, 2010. A thorough bred technocrat, Prince Ogunlewe introduced the computerization of records of land allocation on scheme-by-scheme basis in Lagos State. He also facilitated the preparation of an omnibus seniority list at the then Post-Primary Teaching Service Commission to avert supersession, particularly in appointment into duty posts and initiated the processes that resulted in the setting up of the Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN), Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) and Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN). He is also a Patron of the Association for the Eradication of Corruption in Nigeria (ASSERCORN). Prince Ogunlewe holds a B.Sc. in Sociology and a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Administration, both from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University. He is happily married to Adenike Ogunlewe and blessed with children. He loves walking, reading and listening to music.
