MFIMC LAUNCHES OFF WITH FIELD WORKER TRAINING
The May 31st Field Worker (FW) training marked the commencement of implementation activities on the MFIMC (Model Families Initiative for Malaria Control) project.
The full day orientation training aimed at informing and equipping FWs on project goals, activities, modalities, timelines, targets and tools to be employed for fieldwork. Field workers are critical input of the MFIMC project’s mentoring strategy. 24 field workers, mostly community health workers and nurses who live in and around the target community of Akowonjo, were present and trained at the event.
Training modules were delivered by the Alimosho Local Government Manager of Health, Dr. Titilayo Oni, Mrs. Ahmed-Ogundipe, Alimosho Health Educator, Titilope Ogunjimi, Alimosho Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and Omobola Lana, WDI Executive Director. ACT Foundation representatives, Ayodeji Ojo and Alexandra Bazuaya were present at the training and provided a brief overview of the Foundation.
